Andrew Potter

1960

Andrew trained initially as a graphic artist and illustrator. Living in Cornwall for many years he found true inspiration in the clarity of light, crumbling buildings, open landscape and the ever-changing and unpredictable sea, with his work often showin ghis love of the power of nature.

His experimentation with colour and contrast led him to ‘hone’ in on small details with a tendency to the semi abstract but with meticulous detail to ‘true’ paintings, capturing the drama and sometime humour to be found in the local environment.

Andrew’s work features in many private collections both in the UK and overseas.
